“Home is Where Jesus Is”

This past Sunday we looked at the story of God promising to establish an everlasting kingdom through the line of David (2 Samuel 7) in conjunction with the story of the Magi visiting Jesus (Matthew 2). Jesus was the one who truly established God’s everlasting kingdom. If you’d like to read through the morning sermon, feel free to click the following link: Home is Where Jesus Is.

This coming Sunday we will look at how David’s kingdom began to fall apart even while he was still alive. With such disruption in David’s reign, we can look with even more hope to Jesus’ everlasting kingdom. Where David was unfaithful, Jesus was completely faithful.

Peace, Phil
