“God’s Anointed”

This past Sunday we looked back on the story of David being anointed by Samuel (1 Samuel 16:1-13) from the perspective of Jesus coming as God’s true anointed King. If you’d like to read the morning message, feel free to click the following link: God’s Anointed.

Family discussion questions for this week are:

  • What does God see in David that makes him ready to be king over Israel and Judah?
  • What does it mean for Jesus to be God’s Anointed? What does it mean for us today?

This next Sunday we will focus on the story of Jesus’ birth through song as the choir leads us in worship.

May Christ’s Peace be with each of you this Christmas season!
